Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro – Nainokanoka
We will travel by vehicle to Ngorongoro Conservation Area from Arusha town. Within the Maasai village of Nainokanoka where the Olmoti crater is, you can prepare to hike to the rim of this crater and enjoy a wonderful view while dinner is prepared. Dinner will be served at the camp at an altitude of 2650masl.
Day 2: Olmoti crater – Empakai – Nayobi village
Waking up early the next day will reward you with the tropical sunrise early over the beautiful crater. After breakfast, we will begin the drive to Nayobi village 7kms away. You will have a lunch break on your way and after lunch will proceed to acacia camp where we will have dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Nayobi village – Lake Natron
After breakfast, you will begin the descent to the floor of the rift valley. At this point, magnificence becomes a reality as the land unfolds and exposes the legendary plains of the Serengeti, Lake Natron, and the great and active mountain of God
